The shock of the round in the Welsh Cup quarter finals came the way of Afan Lido, who shocked their steel town rivals Port Talbot 1-0 at the Remax to set up a semi final with Welshpool. Elsewhere, in the league, Rhyl slipped up again, held 0-0 by Caernarfon at home.
