Pacquette seeing results
By Editor
February 3 2003
Striker Richard Pacquette puts his good form down to the work he has been doing on the training ground to try and improve his game.
Pacquette produced his best display for the Rangers first team so far at Chesterfield on Sunday, when he netted his third goal of 2003.

"I was happy with my performance," he said. "My all-round game was better, including my hold-up play which I've been working on.

"I've been working hard in training to try and improve my game and I know that's what I have to keep on doing. Hopefully then I'll keep on playing well and carry on scoring.

"I wasn't fit enough but I've been working hard in training and getting games under my belt.

"The manager said if I worked hard I'd get a run of games and that's what has happened."

Meanwhile, Rangers are ready to abandon their bid to sign Craig McAllister from Basingstoke Town, who have turned down an offer for the forward amid interest from several other clubs.
