Leyton Orient a crucial game

The visit of Leyton Orient to Whaddon Road on Saturday really is a must win game. The Robins are yet to register a win in 2004, the last triumph being the 3-2 win over Macclesfield on Boxing Day. The Robins currently find themselves languishing in 21st position 7 points above Darlington in the last relegation place.

Opponents on Saturday Leyton Orient have been on a bit of a run of late and have hauled themselves up to 11th in the table so can no longer be counted as one of our relegation rivals.

However this is one game where we would expect to collect 3 points from. Orient's last visit to Cheltenham was in this years FA Cup 2nd round where the Robins ran out 3-1 winners however this was helped by the early dismisal of Orient's 'keeper.

Leyton Orients last 5 results have been (Orient score first):

Torquay (h) 0-0
Darlington (h) 1-0
Doncaster (a) 0-5
Mansfield (h) 3-1
Yeovil (a) 2-1

Are chances on Saturday may depend on whether we catch them on a bad day like away at Doncaster in the 5-0 defeat or on a good day when they defeated Yeovil 2-1 at Huish Park.

So remember to get down to Whaddon Road for 3pm on Saturday and cheer on the Robins to 3 further points away from the relegation zone.
