Results of Poll
By Andy Lance October 2 2004
Here are all the previous Chester City Poll results. The results are decided by you, the Chester supporters........
In our first poll of the season, we asked you how Chester would fare in the coming season. Of the 37 who voted, a healthy 68% predicted a championship victory, reflecting the great confidence felt in Mark Wright's team. 11% predicted relegation for the Blues - it looks like we may have some Wrexham fans visiting the site!

The vote was split amongst the 74 who voted on who should be captain. 26% went for the actual choice, Andy Harris. Close behind however were Scott Guyett on 20%, Paul Carden on 19%, Phil Bolland on 18% and Wayne Brown on 15%

We asked you who should be first in line to partner Daryl Clare once he returns from injury. Of 37 votes, Darryn Stamp secured a fairly conclusive vote of confidence with 69% in his favour.

With asked you whether our esteemed manager, Mr. Mark Wright, would leave the club following speculation regarding his departure. 44% actually got it wrong, thinking he would leave the club. 38% correctly predicted he would remain in his position as Chester City manager.

It appears the City fans have come to their senses. Of the 46 who voted, 70% believe that now is not the time for a new manager. Mark Wright's mandate from the fans to lead the side, although not overwhelming, appears secure.
