Of the 37 who voted, a healthy 68% predicted a championship victory, reflecting the great confidence felt in Mark Wright's team. 11% predicted relegation for the Blues - it looks like we may have some Wrexham fans visiting the site!
The vote was split amongst the 74 who voted on who should be captain. 26% went for the actual choice, Andy Harris. Close behind however were Scott Guyett on 20%, Paul Carden on 19%, Phil Bolland on 18% and Wayne Brown on 15%
We asked you who should be first in line to partner Daryl Clare once he returns from injury. Of 37 votes, Darryn Stamp secured a fairly conclusive vote of confidence with 69% in his favour.
With asked you whether our esteemed manager, Mr. Mark Wright, would leave the club following speculation regarding his departure. 44% actually got it wrong, thinking he would leave the club. 38% correctly predicted he would remain in his position as Chester City manager.
It appears the City fans have come to their senses. Of the 46 who voted, 70% believe that now is not the time for a new manager. Mark Wright's mandate from the fans to lead the side, although not overwhelming, appears secure.
In our first poll of the 2004/5 season, we asked whether you were happy with the signing of Michael Branch. Of the 159 who voted, 82% were pleased with his ariival, with 8% unhappy. 10% seemed unsure of even who he was!
Of 96 voters, Ian Rush was first choice for CCFC's new manager, polling 38%. Aldridge and McMahon polled 15% each, whereas beleagured incumbent Ray Mathias polled a pathetic 1%!
