Morecambe who have been tracking Chester midfielder Michael Twiss for some time have saw their £5,000 bid for the ex Manchester United player turned down.

Twiss who arrived from Leigh RMI has struggled to hold down a first team place at the club but remains in the City squad with Wright outlining his qualities.

The players contract expires at the end of the season.
