By Olly Chapman
June 7 2005
With plenty of clubs chasing the Stags frontman Colin Larkin, Darlington's assistant manager Mark Proctor has stated his intrest in bringing the centre forward to the Williamson Motors Stadium.
Darlington's assistant boss Mark Proctor has confirmed the clubs interest in Mansfield Town's Colin Larkin.

The Qaukers no.2 has revealed today that the Stags forward could be the ideal man to add firepower to the front-line.

Proctor: "I have just held further talks with him and we'll see what develops. He is a rock solid player at this level".

With eleven goals at Field Mill last season, Larkin knows what the game is like at this level and knows this could be a great oppurtunity after falling out with Mansfield gaffer Carlton Palmer.

Larkin: "I would love to stay here, but after whats been said, it would be very hard to sign a new contract now.My agent is out there looking for a new club for me to join".
