Rovers still wait for first league win.

BRISTOL ROVERS go second from bottom of the football league after a disappointing home defeat at the hands of Rochdale. C. Platt put the Dale in front on 36 minutes before Simon Bryant levelled on the stroke of half time. Then on 78 minutes Paul Simpson scored the winner to make it 2-1 to Rochdale.
6,478 Gasheads witnessed a very poor Bristol Rovers side that was easily outplayed by a well-organised Rochdale side that will be arguably contenders for promotion this season. Whether or not Rovers will be up there remains to be seen, after three games played we have only one point to our name. Rovers would be bottom if Boston hadn't have been deducted points.

Surely we are better than this? We are without doubt a big side with a big fan base but as we have found that mean nothing now.

I, along with every Gashead will back Ray Graydon all the way but I fear that if performances continue to get worse we could see something along the lines of what we saw last season, only without the legend that is Nathan Ellington to save us.

Ray Graydon has a 5-year contract so lets get behind him to help lift the dark cloud that is forming around The Mem!

ONLY THREE GAMES PLAYED - Remember that folks!

Next Match: Boston, The Memorial Stadium - League Cup Qualifier.
