Cardiff tonight play the third of their six pre-season games against Scottish Division Two side, Berwick Rangers. Berwick are famous for being the only English team in the Scottish League!

Tonight is a big game for Martyn Margetson who has been promised a start tonight, and will be looking to impress manager, Lennie Lawrence during his trial period with the Bluebirds.

Lawrence won't announce the complete team selection until tonight, but it is unlikely that Spencer Prior will start tonight as he is still carrying a minor injury.

Where you'll be Going?

Shielfield Park

Shielfield Park is a small ground which holds just over 4,000 (1,300 seated). The ground is a classic oval shape, with a cinder track surrounding the playing area (which is used by the Berwick Speedway Team during the summer). Both ends are small open terraces, whilst on one side is the Main Stand. This small all seated stand is covered, but has a row of floodlights running across the front of the stand, the foundations of which could impede your view. Opposite is another mostly open terrace. However there is a small covered area, known as the 'Ducket Enclosure' which straddles the half way line. I am not sure about away fans tonight, as Berwick don't often split up home and away fans aoart from big games (like when they played Glasgow Rangers last season.).

Where to drink?

"The Grove" is reccomended by fans, and welcomes both sets of supporters. There are several pubs near the ground, which are all very friendly.

One to Watch

25 year-old, Gary Wood, is said by many to be one of the best players to pull on a Berwick shirt. The striker, was Berwick's top scorer last season, and is considered one of the best players in the Scottish Second Division.

All Cardiff fans will have their eyes on Martyh Margetson tonight, who will be looking to impress on his debut during his trial period.

Cardiff's biggest game of this pre-season tour will be the next one, against SPL side, Motherwell.

Berwick celebrate a draw with Glasgow Rangers in last seasons Scottish FA Cup. Glasgow Rangers eventually went on to win the competition beating Celtic in the final.
