Dave Jones has denied claims that he had a bust-up with Kevin Muscat or any other players for that matter as the season heated up and Wolves missed out on promotion to the promised land.
Reports suggested Jones had had bust-up with Muscat and it was that which influenced the Aussie to move to the North.
Jones Tells Teamtalk "I have never had a bust-up with any of of the players. Kevin was injured in our game against Grimsby and we decided that he was not fit for our other games.
"He had also decided that his future lay with Glasgow Rangers."
Dave Jones has also lept to defend Wolves skipper Paul Butler after claims that the Center-Back was not giving 100% towards the end of last season. The captain picked up seven yellow cards and was sent for an early bath in the game of the season against Manchester City.
Jones told Teamtalk "Paul is a player who never gives less than 100 per cent. He is a lad with a big heart and he always wants to do well.
"When he is not playing as well as he hopes to be he does get a bit frustrated but that is because he wants to be a winner."
