Author: Scott Cooper Wolverhampton Wanderers went down 2-1 at Yeovil last night in yet another poor pre-season performance. Neither of the new signings played in the game which saw Wolves go one down after 42 minutes. Paul Butlers headed attempt of a clearance from Williams cross was directed past the Wolves Keeper Matt Murray to condemn Wolves to trailing 1-0 at the break. Yeovil made it two 62 minutes into the second half. The defence was again caught sleeping as Lindegaard crossed low and Gall knocked the ball in from close range. Alex Rae scored a late consolation goal 2 minutes from time when he looped Goberns cross above the Yeovil Keeper. |
