A brief look at the weeks main news surrounding Wolverhampton Wanderers. This week has been busy with Isaac Okoronkwo, Silas, M`Bami and Kameni all joining Wolves.


12/7/03 - Cameroon `Keeper Set To Sign.

Willie McKay (agent): It is a loan deal for the whole of next season with the option of a permanent move for £2 Million

11/7/03 - Modeste M`Bami Set To Sign For Wolves.

Jez Moxey: A fee has been agreed, as have personal terms.

10/7/03 - Wolves re-sign Paul Ince and Denis Irwin For One Extra Season.

Paul Ince: You can go into the season being pessimistic. But I think we should be looking to say that mid-table is our goal.

9/7/03 - Wolves Sign Silas For £1.5 Million

Dave Jones:  I believe we have signed a superb player for a great price. We have been quoted 3 times that for English based players who in out opinion are not as good.

8/7/03 - Wolves Signed Isaac Okoronkwo

Dave Jones:  We’ve seen him on television and live and it’s a big plus now we’re in the Premiership to get somebody of this international class.

Okoronkwo: I met some of the players this morning and they were all laughing and joking. I can see it is a good dressing room.

7/7/03 - Wolves Assistant Manager John Ward was sacked by Dave Jones with immediate effect.

6/7/03 - JJ Melligan believes this is his "Make Or Break" Season.

Melligan: I think it really is make or break as far as Wolves and I are concerned. All I want to do is come back, knuckle down during pre-season and then see what happens.
