Wolves host Pyunic Yedevan of Armenia in the return leg of this Europa League stage. Wolves lead by 4 - 0 from the first leg, and are favourites to proceed to the next round where they will probably face Torino of Italy
Despite the lead his team holds from the first match Nuno Espirito Santo has ruled out any possibility of Wolves taking the outcome of tonight's game for granted, saying in his press conference that the game starts 0 - 0. He has also refused to confirm whether any of the new players, or some of the young players in the squad will get a start. However it is widely assumed that new signings Jesus Callejo and Patrick Cutrone will make an appearance at some stage in front of their home crowd.
There may be limited opportunity to follow the game other than by audio commentary through the official site, so board members are encouraged to post their observations for the benefit of those unable to access it.
Unfortunately I am unable to follow the game again tonight or offer any commentary. I hope board members will help each other out and post their thoughts on tonight's match.
Neto and Cutrone look sharp at the half time 0-0. But quality not quite there. Same old story for Adama; terrifying speed but weak end product. He is probably running out of chances?
Yes - think Adama is probably doomed. This is his chance to shine having missed the first leg, but he doesn't seem to be taken advantage of his opportunity.
Full time 4-0 (8-0)
Had it all. Long spells of boredom but a great result with Neto and Cutrone making a great start, Raul and Diego coming on for a real nice warm up with results. A first senior goal for Morgan Gibbs White, positive play from Rueben Vinagre and , well, resluts, amazingly for Adama Traore (after his shot went out for a free kick; want to see THAT on youtube too! Wolverina).
Cheers Chicago , and Wolverina for keeping the thread going tonight. Another good win and what a goal from Jota at the end! Lovely 1-2 with Jiminez wasn’t it. I know we’ve played inferior opposition in both rounds so far but we’ve scored some great goals in the process. 14 goals in all thus far. Torino will be a different kettle of fish, however!
Nice to seeing us dispatching sides with a bit of style, hopefully they can keep it going for Monday night, I’ll be there!
