Part five of Wolves seasons takes us to the 1891/92 season which saw two new clubs join the league giving us a 26 match season. Darwen made their debut in the football league while Stoke City returned after a one year absence. Wolves had a mixed season due to a poor first half that saw them win just three times in thirteen matches. Then a 5-1 victory over Everton and a 6-1 win over Blackburn a week later started a change of fortune that saw them win eight of the final thirteen games. In the F.A.Cup they again fell in round three after losing to Villa.
