The calm before the Storm?

Right then the football season is now officially over, all divisions have been sorted for next season so now what?

A lot of Wolves fans may have thought that we would have signed one or two players by now, but lets face it with the Premiership only finishing yesterday the odds of that were very slim (as slim as the odds for Wolves to stay up next season it seems!)

Hopefully now that clubs will be willing to talk business lets hope that the "Transfer Roundabout" will be in full swing in the coming week(s) with some interesting and quality signings and this quiet patch is the Calm before the Storm! I wonder if the press have actually hit the nail on the head with any signings or will it be another case of us signing players that we have had no clue or indication that we are actually after!?

One player I do think that we have missed a trick with was Aaron Mokoena. He is the South Africa captain and has played many a time for Blackburn in the past, and as he was a free transfer would have been a steal in my opinion. I guess however he has gone to Portsmouth either for A. more money, B. wanted to go to a club with (on paper) a better chance of staying up or C. Wolves weren't interested. Whatever the reason, I am sure that we have got other players in mind who maybe better in quality, but I guess we will just have to wait and see!

Fasten your seat belts Ladies & Gents. We're going to be in for a bumpy ride!

Onwards and Upwards!
