According club website guru Jim McAllister - "Director Colin Hosie has confirmed that the Club have received a considerable number of applicants for the vacant manager's position at SHS. A decision will be made as soon as possible on Tam Carson's replacement."

Well that tells us absolutely bugger all doesn't it.

In actual football news Sons have drawn Falkirk and East Stirling in their section of this season's Stirlingshire Cup. Dates have yet to be confirmed we take on Falkirk at The Rock first before travelling to Firs Park to face the Shire. The final scheduled for 3rd September at the ground of one of the finalists.

The Clydebank Post reports that the Bankies new management team for next season will be Gordon Chisholm, Kenny Brannigan and Steve Morrison. This would rule Brannigan out of taking over at The Rock but it is still rumour as STV has reported that Chisholm has joined Airdrie.
