From
four there were two left - we eliminated Peterhead from the promotion equation
with that fine 3-0 victory at The Rock - this also meant Montrose had
finally ran out of games and can't make the second spot. However
Albion Rovers kept the pressure up with a 3-0 victory over Stirling
Albion meaning Sons fans will still be biting their nails this
Saturday. It's going to come down to the wire
and CSN takes another
look at Sons and our rivals final run-in.

Dumbarton |
| Dumbarton
currently sit in second place and maintained their two point lead
over Albion
Rovers with yet another vital win over Peterhead. Sons
dominated the match after the break and goals from Robert Dunn, Andy
Brown and John Dillon kept the goal difference up aswell.

Sons are in the driving seat in
their final match against Queens Park. A draw might be
enough if Albion Rovers win by two goals or less. But
should Rovers go on a goal spree and win by three clear goals Sons
would need to win to go up.

Albion Rovers face Elgin City who
have hit a slump which was highlighted by their defeat at home to
Queens Park. Rovers will go all out for goals as it could
come to that if Sons draw their home match.

Odds |
| Rovers fans
probably expected Sons to drop points in either of the games
against Brechin or Peterhead. Queens Park showed how much
they have improved when they beat Elgin to record their third
straight away victory. With Elgin faltering perhaps Rovers
have the easier of the two games, but with Dumbarton now recording
six home wins on the trot its in our own capable hands.
