The launch of Notts County’s new home shirt on Sunday, seen the Club Shop packed on one of the busiest day on record. Fans were queuing outside before the doors opened at 10am, waiting to become one the first to get hold of the new stylish design. Club Shop manager Lynn Lawson and her team of helpers were rushed of their feet for the next 6 hours. Fans also had the chance to get their shirts signed as well as pick up autographs, as Steve Thompson and the First Team were in attendance. But the busiest person of the day was Lynn’s husband Pete, who had the job of putting names and numbers for fans on the shirts. Lynn told Magpie World: “I would just like to say a big thank you to everyone for supporting the launch.” “The fans, the players, the managers and my staff were all fantastic.” “Everyone has been great. It has been the best launch ever.” And with more stock due to arrive over the next few days it has never been a better time to pop to the club shop and see what they have to offer. The shop will be open before and after this Tuesday’s friendly against Sheff Utd and from 9am until 5pm the rest of the week and from 9am to noon on Saturday.
