IMPORTANT: FIXTURE CHANGE Plymouth v Newcastle
By Tyne-Talk
March 4 2010
Newcastle United's trip down to Plymouth Argyle in April has been rescheduled for Sky to show the match live. The change in date means that Newcastle will have at least 18 games shown live this season, but that doesn't help the fans who will find travelling such a distance on a Monday night impossible.

The match was originally scheduled for Saturday 17th April 2010, but has been moved to a 7.45pm Kick Off on Monday 19th April 2010.

NUFC.com have reported that the club lodged a bid to stop the move but their protest went unheard.

Chris Hughton's side will be looking to take maximum points off Argyle after securing a 3-1 in their corresponding game at St James' Park earlier in the season.

19th April!!!!

Thats the day of Waco and the Oklahoma bombing (Sm159)

On a serious note, if we play our cards right we could be promoted by then (Sm128)

Good point pal. Thats probably why its on the Monday as well, with the rest of the leagues fixtures having been decided and only two games left after.

This could be a clincher for either automatic promotion or to actually win the league.

Its getting close.

Once again Sky show absolutely no regard for fans who actually go to games. Disgraceful.

I feel sorry for the fans who may travel, but for me it is another game on sky, so for me it is a good thing
