Dons manager Roberto Di Matteo has been nominated for the League One Manager of the Month award for April, the final monthly managerial prize of the season. Roberto has already won the award once this season, in November last year.

The other nominees are the other three managers of the top four sides; Peterborough United's Darren Ferguson, Leeds United's Simon Grayson and Leicester City's Nigel Pearson. Ferguson is the current holder of the award after Peterborough's superb form in March, while Pearson has won the prize twice this season and is widely expected to be named the League One Manager of the Year at the end of the season.

The Dons enjoyed the best form of the four sides in April, winning five matches and losing one, conceding only two goals in the process and scoring eight. Peterborough have won three, drawn one and lost one, securing promotion with a win against Colchester in the last game of the month. Leicester did the same, and also sealed the title, a week earlier, winning three and drawing two during the month. Leeds have won four, drawn one and lost one in April.

The winner will be announced at 1.20pm on Thursday on Sky Sports News.
