United were held to a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford by newly promoted Wolves on Saturday afternoon. Brazilian Fred became the 500th player to score a competitive goal for United, but the reds failed to keep a clean sheet and Wolves deservedly equalised in the second half to take a share of the spoils bacl to Molineux. The home draw comes after three consecutive away wins including a 3-0 victory in Switzerland over Young Boys. Next up is Derby County in the League Cup.

"They started better and were more aggressive, had more intent and I don't know why but they were more motivated. "We made it quite easy for them to cope with our supremacy in last 20 minutes. Overall we don't deserve more than this." said Jose Mourinho after the Wolves match.
