Manchester United secured second spot in the Premier League following a bore draw at David Moyes' West Ham, with goalkeepers David De Gea and Adrian unbeaten throughout.
The Red Devils needed a point at the London Stadium - home of the 2012 Summer Olympics and Paralympics - to wrap-up runners-up spot, and duly obliged in a largely dour stalemate.
A furious late spat between Hammers skipper Mark Noble and United's Paul Pogba, which led to a mass altercation between opposing players, will capture most of the headlines after a largely lifeless contest.
United created more chances in London, with home 'keeper Adrian impressive and Moyes will have been pleased to deny his former club the win.
A lack of urgency and tempo from United late on suggested that the players were prepared to settle for a point in this end-of-season affair, securing second spot - a highest league finish since 2013; and the first time since 2012 that the Red Devils have ended a league campaign as runners-up.
United's league endeavours conclude on Sunday against Watford; but the priority now is, without doubt, the FA Cup final against Chelsea on May 19.
Aside from Chelsea aiming to topple Liverpool's hold on fourth spot (please, please, please!); and Swansea being mathematically able to escape the drop on goal difference, there's little of huge significance left to decide in the 2017/18 Premier League.
Full Time - West Ham United 0-0 Manchester United
