United march on in the League Cup and we look forward.

After the defeat at Huddersfield, which was United's first loss of the season, the club got back to winning ways with a comfortable 2-0 victory at the Liberty Stadium against a hard working but overwhelmed Swansea City side. A much changed United team enjoyed mich of the possession and two goals from Jesse Lingard sealed the red devils place in the last 8 of the competition they won last season. Coming up is a tough home fixture against Spurs at Old Trafford on Saturday (kick off 12.30) followed by a return to Champions League action with the visit of Benfica on Haloween night.

The club face inconsistent Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday 5th November as the season begins to hot up....
