Jose Mourinho has hinted that he believes Manchester United can still win the 2016/17 Premier League title.
As the race hots up for who will snatch Leicester City's crown away from them, United's new manager confidently suggested that the Red Devils are still in the mix.
United host West Ham on Sunday, 11 points behind the league leaders with a game in hand. However, following a morale-boosting 4-0 Europa League victory over Feyenoord, the Red Devils chief has not given up hope of a dramatic rise up the domestic ranks.
Commenting on his ambitions, Mourinho said:
"You can recover points. Other teams can lose points. During the season, there are moments where everything goes against you. There are moment where everything goes in your favour.
"We know that the game is not over. The reality is, there is a distance and there are many quality teams, so it is a very difficult competition."
The biggest price with the bookmakers for a United title success is 27/1 - with Manchester City at 21/10, Chelsea 23/10 and Liverpool 3/1.
