Paul Pogba
Pogba, perhaps lacking a little patience, is thought to be frustrated at a lack of first-team opportunities at Old Trafford.
The 18-year-old is yet to make a senior start for United – with his three club appearances coming as a substitute in the Carling-sponsored League Cup.
Sir Alex Ferguson outlined at the start of the season that Pogba would feature in his plans for the campaign, but – as yet – he has enjoyed only minimal involvement in United’s bid for League Cup success.
Back in August, the United boss said: “If we hold Pogba back, what’s going to happen? He’s going to leave. You know, in a couple of years’ time when his contract is going to finish.
"So we have to give him the opportunity to see how he can do in the first-team and he’s got great ability, plus he’s got the physique and athleticism”.
With those opportunities not really materialising as of yet, speculation is rife that he is looking for a way out of Old Trafford should regular first-team opportunities be offered by another top European club.
The Sunday Mirror reports that Juventus are closely monitoring the player’s progress and could be lining up a transfer move, whilst Goal.com reports - in an exclusive - that bitter rivals Man City are interested in both Pogba and fellow 18-year-old United midfielder Ravel Morrison.
A French Under-19 international, The player joined United in 2009 from Le Havre in controversial fashion, with the French club entering a fierce war of words regarding the circumstances that led to the transfer.
