Kevin Keegan has confirmed that Eyal Berkovic will be missing from the starting line up for the Premiership clash with Spurs. Eyal Berkovic has not travelled to London with the City squad for their meeting with Spurs on Friday and is a doubt for the visit of Sunderland on Easter Monday.
"Eyal is not travelling with us due to his injury," confirmed Kevin Keegan after taking the squad's final training session at their Carrington HQ before leaving for London.

The influential playmaker was substituted at half time in the draw against Maine Road last Saturday as he continues to struggle with a groin problem.

Ali Benarbia will now come into the frame for his first start since the defeat at the hands of Chelsea.

That is the only expected change in the side which will be aiming for a reverse of Spurs 3-2 victory at Maine Road before Christmas.

The boss is set to stick with the striking partnership of Nicolas Anelka and Robbie Fowler despite his second half substitution of the pair against Middlesbrough.

And Kevin Keegan confirmed that a goalkeeper would be top of his list of targets when the transfer window re-opens.

With Peter Schmeichel having decided to retire at the end of the season and Nicky Weaver set for another period on the sidelines a keeper is a top priority.

"I will be looking for a new keeper in the summer," said Kevin Keegan. "We have Carlo Nash who has the ability but with Peter going at the end of the season and Nicky injured I will be looking to bring another keeper in."
