Another Premiership side have joined the race to sign Auxerre and French International Jean-Alain Bousomong it has been revealed. Read On For Full Story.
Liverpool target Jean-Alain Boumsong has admitted hes made contact with Liverpool and also Marseille
Boumsong, who is currently with the French national team pre-paring for the confedrations cup told French newspaper L'Equipe that he'd been in touch with the Anfield club.
He said: "I would be lying if I said I had not [had contact]. Notably with Marseille and Liverpool.
"But perhaps I won't be going there. You can have hundreds of contacts but with no transfer at the end."
The French International asked if he felt he would still be with the Coupe de France winners next year, the 23-year-old replied: "I will start pre-season training with Auxerre if necessary. I am not staying by my phone. But things can still change."
