KOPS LAST STAND
By John Christie
January 25 2012
Liverpool's Spion Kop has a unique tradition of backing its managers.  Evidence of this special bond these men have is in the songs and banners that honour them long after they're gone.  These are men who serve with the clubs interest above all else, who never lie to the fans, respect the traditions of the club, these men will always receive unconditional support.

In my forty odd years of attending Anfield only two men have failed to respect us, and both were shown the door.  Alas, times are changing, we have in our midst a new breed of fan.  A fan demanding instant gratification.  A fan of no patience, no belief in the long term vision of their manager.

They raised their ugly heads against Rafa.  It was embarrassing to see a great man hounded out of his job by morons taking the bait of lies sewn by Hicks and Gillett, and spewed out by our media.

Our form of late has not been good; some of Kenny's signings are struggling.  The English media are smelling blood as our big cup clashes loom.  Defeat in these games will unleash a storm of questions about Kenny's future from them.

Its now we need to make a stand, Kenny's our manager, we believe and have faith in him, as he does with us.  Any worm coming out of a hole saying otherwise should be stood on.  Time for the Kop to make a stand, if we allow the morons to take over it will be its last
