Green passes the 100 mark
By Slevin Morgan
February 8 2010
Paul Green made his 100th appearance in a City shirt during the 2-1 defeat to Chesterfield on Saturday. Having recently come back into the team following an injury, he becomes one of just a few players in the current squad to reach triple figures with his appearances.

Green joined the Imps in 2007 from Aston Villa and signed on the same day as Dany N'Guessan. It was a relief for the Imps as the club had no permanent right back at the time, with Ryan Amoo and Nicky Eaden (on loan from Forest) filling in that position up until that point, and Lee Beevers flipping between right and left back every now and then. He made his debut in the 1-0 win over Peterborough later that week and had been a near ever-present until that injury ruled him out.

He is one of just three Imps to pass the three figured appearance mark. Richard Butcher has played 139 times over three spells for the Imps, whereas Scott Kerr has made 210 appearances for City since joining from Scarborough in 2005.

I guess Rob Burch will be reaching a tonne soon? Also just checked on OS and Shane Clarke has over 60 appearances.
