Midweek action saw ex-Leigh winer Jack Dorney score twice in Woodley Sports' 3-1 Evo-Stik League First Division North home win over Mossley.

On a night of cup action, Jamie Henders and Chris Thompson were amongst the scorers for Warrington Town in their epic 5-4 win after extra time over visitors Cheadle Town in the Cheshire Senior Cup, while Gavin Salmon was the Salford scorer in their 2-1 loss at home to Chorley in the Doodson Cup, for whom Dale Whitham scored the winning goal in a tie that featured no less than ten ex-Leigh players between the two sides.

In the North West Counties League, Chris Baguley scored Ashton Athletic's only goal in their 2-1 home defeat to Runcorn Linnets, while Neil Prince scored a hat trick and Lee Thompson also on the scoresheet in Bootle's 5-1 win over St. Helens Town.
