Another Saturday, and another Saturday of ex-Leigh players finding themselves on the scoresheet in the local non-league scene.
Former Genesis striker Phil Marsh was on the scoresheet in Stalybridge Celtic's 3-0 Blue Square North win away to Bishop's Stortford, while FA Cup First Qualifying Round day saw Tom Ince score for Chorley in their 1-1 draw away to AFC Fylde, Chris Amadi score in Ashton United's 5-1 win over Runcorn Town and Kieran Lugsden score Buxton's second goal in their 2-0 win away to Louth Town.
League action was relatively thin on the ground with Ben Jones scoring Farsley's first goal in their 5-0 Evo-Stik League First Division North victory over Ossett Albion while Adam Parkhouse was on the scoresheet in Atherton LR's 2-1 win away to AFC Liverpool in the North West Counties League Premier Division.
