Ex player watch
By Matt Lawton August 17 2011 A sizeable contingent of supporters of the former Leigh Genesis club visited Warrington Town's Cantilever Park on Tuesday evening to see the hosts play Curzon Ashton.
A dozen Leigh fans made the short trip to Warrington to see the visitors win 2-0.
Warrington featured ex Leigh players Chris Thompson, Steve Ferrigan and Jamie Henders, whilst also having Stuart Humphreys, James Stand and Rick Ward in the dug out. Curzon had striker Chris McDonough, substitute Andy Heald and unused substitute Steve Settle as their ex-Leigh players along with assistant manager Steve Brockley.
