Town moved upto 14th in the league following a 3-0 win against Mickey Adams' Sheffield United side at Portman Road earlier this afternoon.
Town manager Paul Jewell made no changes to the side that beat Derby County 2-1 in midweek.
The visitors kept Town at bay for almost the entire first 30 minutes but failed to create any real chances. Town however did manage to create a chance and a goal after 29 minutes when Damien Delaney headed home Jimmy Bullard's free-kick.
Town doubled their lead early in the second half, Delaney crossing in from the left to David Norris at the far post in enough space to fire home.
Town had chances to extend their lead further, first Tamas Priskin beat Sheffield United 'keeper Simonsen but couldn't guide the ball from the edge of the box into the net, instead finding the post. Town were awarded a penalty as well when Priskin was brought down in the box but Leadbitter's effort from 12 yards lacked its normal power and was turned round the post by Simonsen.
Seven minutes later though Town made the points safe when Connor Wickham picked up the ball around the halfway line, his run beat the Sheffield United defenders and eventually Simonsen.
The Blades ended the game with 9 men when Kozluk was sent off for violent conduct and Williamson talked his way into the book for a second time.
