Gillingham manager Mark Stimson has captured his number one transfer target Mark McCammon today. The striker turned down a one year extension at Doncaster for a three-year deal at Priestfield. The 29-year-old was the big target man that topped manager Mark Stimson's summer target list.
The 6' 5 striker was a key part of Doncaster Rover's promotion clinching side last season and is now expected to partner Simeon Jackson up front for The Gills as Stimson aims to make an immediate return to League One.
Gillingham beat off interest from a host of other clubs for McCammon's signature, including rivals Millwall.
