Goalkeeper John Wight and right-back Michael Dickie have both sign on for next seasons campaign in Division 2.

Wight displaced John Hillcoat to take the number 1 jersey for the latter half of the season and saved the injury time penalty which assured Sons of promotion.

Dickie swapped places with Stevie Bonar for the number two shirt during the season but will be looking to make it his own this time out.

In the Dumbarton Reporter Sons director Colin Hosie has asked Sons fans to be patient as the club dither about appointing a new manager.  Allegedly the club have made an offer to someone already but this might just be more nonsense from the most incompetent board in Scotland.

It's hardly going to encourage people to buy season tickets right now, but then again maybe they want to let us wait until the tickets jump in price.
