Quakers seal deal for Phil Stamp

Darlo have signed yet another ex-Boro player, in the form of Phil Stamp. More recently he played for Scottish high-flyers, Hearts. The North East native has signed a deal that will keep him at the club until Christmas, with a possible view to extending the deal.

Darlo have signed yet another ex-Boro player, in the form of Phil Stamp. More recently he played for Scottish high-flyers, Hearts. The North East native has signed a deal that will keep him at the club until Christmas, with a possible view to extending the deal.
Phil Stamp
Position: Midfield (Centre/Right)
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 14st 9lbs
Stamp will provide some much-needed experience to the team and will hopefully be ready for action this Friday against Macclesfield.
Is bringing in well-known players (or "Galacticos") a good idea, or should we just be going for players who are proven at this level?
