Hodgy has revealed that he will not stand in Thomas' way if another club attempts to loan him out. This may come as a relief to the former Wrexham midfielder, who has found himself sidelined after picking up a number of injuries last season. Now that Thomas has apparently recovered from injury, he will be looking for some regular football, which will be unlikely to happen at Darlington with the likes of Anthony Peacock standing (albeit at waist-height) in his way.
Reports also suggest that Clyde's recent omission from the first team is likely to carry on, after Darlington agreed to let Mansfield take him on loan. Clyde turned down the offer, but such news is a sign that the dutchman is no longer a part of Hodgy's immediate first-team plans.
