After a brief flirtation with winning a league game, normal service was resumed as an abject Coventry City display allowed Swindon an easy win.
Swindon's recent form, along with Ajose's recent scoring record, have been fairly dismal, though this mattered little as they easily beat Coventry City. Again.
George Thomas scored a late consolation goal, though a fair few home fans had already left the stadium, so missed it. The youngster now has two league goals in two games for the club.
Such displays, results, and after-match inane managerial ramblings, are the reasons I WON'T be going to Wembley to watch the Checkatrade Trophy final. Potential victory, followed by almost nailed on relegation to League Two, will be the hollowest of victories.
Please, somebody, save my club....
