Coming To Coventry : Leeds
By CovSid67

Coventry City's next 'must win but will probably lose' fixture is at the Ricoh on Tuesday evening.

The club welcome Leeds United to said venue, if for no other reason, because they will bring a fair few supporters, and help make the ground look slightly fuller (Back down to two-and-a-half seats each). This should help boost the coffers, so the club can bleat on about bringing in a possible loan signing or two .... which probably won't happen (Ladbrokes won't give me odds on it happening, which suggests I'm right).

Due to more poor results and displays, the choice of suffering more heart-ache watching the sinking ship that is Coventry City, or wasting the entrance fee on chocolates and cheap flowers instead, and suffering being forced to watch 'Titanic' (Or some equally as mushy, trashy rubbish) on Valentine's Day, will probably be the option selected by many.

Coventry City apparently have more injury worries (Including 'Sideways Sammy'), though the reality is it doesn't seem to matter which XI is put out, the script is likely to be 'more of the same'. The club have denied claims that keeper Joe Murphy has been taken in for extra training, after seemingly forgetting that he is actually allowed to use his hands versus Reading.

Coventry City now find themselves eight points adrift of fourth bottom, with Gary McSheffrey claiming relegation is 'unthinkable'. Avoiding it seems more 'unthinkable', and has done for quite a while now....
