Coventry City gave up there chance of a potentially money-spinning fourth round tie in the FA Cup by disappearing for most of the second half of their cup tie versus Southampton.
For this fixture, Dunn replaced Murphy, Bigirimana replaced Bell, and Jutkiewicz - who was 'injured' against one of the sides hoping to sign him - was replaced by Roy Oh'No'O'Donovan, who once again missed a decent chance early on.
McSheffrey had given the home side the lead in the fifth minute, and the home side then missed the chance to put the match out of Southampton's reach within the first 45 minutes with a number of first half failures in front of goal.
Ward-Prowse and Martin scored the goals that ended Coventry City's interest in this years competition, with both looking easily avoidable.
Before, during, and after the goals, Christie, in an attacking role down the right, did his best to create, but was often undone by a lack of support from his team-mates.
As for the protests, local radio stated a couple of hundred people were involved, though the truth is the numbers were swelled by those that want SISU out standing where everybody had to pass to get to the turnstiles....
TEAM: Dunn, Christie, Wood (Hussey 77), Keogh, Cranie, Deegan, Thomas, Bigirimana (Ruffels 82), Baker, O’Donovan (Jeffers 64), McSheffrey. SNU: Murphy, Clarke, McPake.
