MARTIN Allen's Cheltenham Town kept up their quest for League One survival with a second consecutive win, this time away at Crewe Alexandra thanks to an 84th minute header from striker Paul Connor.
The Robins found themselves trailing after just 90 seconds at Gresty Road, thanks to an Glyfi Sigurdsson goal which had Cheltenham heading for League Two, with the Reds needing a win to keep alive the slim hopes of avoiding the drop.
The half time whistle came with Town heading down and the side in turmoil, meaning Martin Allen had a task turning his boys around, and he certainly did that with the Robins coming out looking like they wanted to keep their League One status.
John Finnigan levelled from the spot after Marlon Broomes' foul on on-loan Tottenham midfielder David Hutton with 13 minutes of the second half gone before Paul Connor popped up six minutes from time to convert substitute Leon Constantine's perfectly flighted cross to send the Cheltenham support into raptures asthe club live on to fight another day.
