Chelsea 3-3 Man Utd: AvB Show His Naivety AGAIN!!

Forget that Howard Webb is on Utd's payroll, forget that Webb is in SAF's back pocket, the blame for yesterday's implosion should be laid fair and square on the shoulders of AvB. At 3-0 within five minutes of the start of the second-half, AvB should have closed the game down, maybe even before at 2-0.

For the second time in a week (Ashley Cole's mad hatter five minutes at the end of the first-half at Swansea, before he eventually got sent off, to jog memories), AvB has let the fans down, the club down and himself down.

AvB simply is out of his depth in the Premier League, his inexperience is as obvious and bright as the shining North Star.

Webb2

When Utd got and scored their first penalty, the impetus swayed back to the Reds.

Chelsea showed too much respect in allowing Utd so much space in midfield, giving Wayne Rooney licence to run riot.

For Utd's 2nd penalty - just don't make me laugh - Ivanovic penalised for tripping Welbeck and for Utd's equaliser the fault lies with Malouda losing easy possession on the edge of Utd's area allowing the Reds to break with consumate ease before Hernandez, straight off the bench, being given a free header past the unprotected Cech, who prior to that kept Chelsea in the game, with several brilliant saves.

For all the saves that Cech made during the ninety-minutes, none of them matched the brilliant tip away by the much maligned De Gea from a Mata free-kick, seconds from time.

And please, please tell me at 3-2, what the hell was Torres doing, clear on goal and instead of putting his laces through the ball he decided to 'do an Arsenal' and walk the ball in the net.

The goal of the game came from Mata at the start of the second-half. A beautiful timed crashing volley giving De Gea no chance as the ball powered high into the net at the Matthew Harding end, from a brilliant Torres cross - where did that come from?

Chelsea's third came from a Luiz header at Utd's near post, whilst Chelsea's opener was from a Jonny Evans own goal, after Danny Sturridge found himself in acres of space down Utd's left.
