There really isn't too much to say about tomorrow's firecracker of a cup-tie at Loftus Road, kicking off at 12, except that the gates will open at 10.30 and everybody entering the stadium, will be searched. The chairmen of both clubs have jointly issued a statement basically asking both sets of fans for peace, calm, tranquility, support your teams and bloody well enjoy the game.

The main attraction of the day isn't about the football.

It's about Ferdinand v Terry and the already raging fire has been fuelled further by the news that a bullet was sent to Ferdinand in the post.

Personally for the sake of calm, I hope both teams decide NOT to play either protaganists, bu being a realist this ain't gonna happen. This is the FA Cup, a competition of such tradition and magnitude, a competition that every single team who enters, wants to win.

Mikel and Super Frank are both unavailable. Ivanovic has now fully recovered and new signing Gary Cahill is expected to feature at some point.

Unfortunately due to the sensitive nature of the situation, especially with JTs trial starting next week, I have to keep my thoughts to myself, otherwise if published, I will probably end up in the dock next to JT..... lol lol lol!!!

Brazilian centre-half Alex left Chelsea today for Paris, reuniting with Carlo Ancelotti at PSG.

Hardly a piece of earth shattering transfer news I know, but a big thank-you is in order for the contribution given by Alex during his Chelsea career and memories fixed for some of the wonderful goals he scored whilst wearing the Blue shirt.
