By Since66 October 24 2011 Only a month ago we talked about how Fernando Torres was reckless, unprofessional and irresponsible in his two footed challenge on Swansea's Mark Gower. On Sunday we witnessed the same type of tackle, but by a different player, Didier Drogba. Again totally reckless, unprofessional and completely irresponsible, this after Chelsea had been reduced to ten-men when Jose Bosingwa was red-carded for a six-of-one, half-dozen of the other, shirt tug-of-war with Shaunie.
A ridiculous red-card produced by the worst Premiership referee so far this season, Chris Foy.
Now I can take a Chelsea defeat on the chin anyday, seven-days a week, 365 days a year if I have to, what I can't take is a ref appearing apparantly on the pay-roll, to make sure QPR won the three points in any way, shape or form from a Chelsea team, rampant in goals and looking to take over second place in the Premier League, after the earlier hahaha result!!
Nine yellow cards, two straight reds I am would be surprised if Foy's backside hadn't suffered from blister burns from pulling out cards, on average every eight minutes.
It is a shame Foy and his assistant on the near side, during the first-half, decided to ignore the treatment dished out by Clint Hall on Danny Sturridge in the thirty-five minutes that Danny was on the pitch.
I counted at least four occasions where Hill kicked Danny up in the air and even Danny was seen to mouth 'How many more times, ref!!!' as he picked himself up from another clattering Hill challenge.
It is also a shame that Foy and his assistant on the far side, ignored THREE Chelsea penalty claims in the 2nd half.
The first coming when Super Frank was pulled to the ground by Fitz Hall and then on two other occasions, Heidar Helguson (auditioning for WWE) on David Luiz - grappling, groping and throwing Luiz to the ground.
I hope AvB has learned a couple of lessons in that Jose Bosingwa (has been said before) simply cannot defend and David Luiz is not a defender either, period!!
Luiz is reckless and doesn't think about what he is doing and the proof was evident when he bundled Helguson to the ground inside the first ten minutes.
On a positive note, a NINE man Chelsea team were simply superb in the 2nd half, taking Rangers to task and had Chelsea taken a point or all three from a pulsating and thrilling game, the sensational headlines would have surpassed those of the earlier hahahah result.
Chris Foy joins Mike Dean on the list of referees, never to officiate a Chelsea game ever again.
Drogs was as silly as Torres a few weeks back...but the rest was a scandalous exhibition of refereeing. I would imagine that any common-sense QPR fan felt embarrassed at the manner of the win.
The only positive aspect was the atmosphere before and during the match - Chelsea everywhere in the streets and pubs...singing away up to the ground. Even had the old bill filming us...so there's footage of me committing the most heinous crime of singing in the streets. It just goes to show that the sometimes insipid atmos at the Bridge is really due to the amount of JCLs we have. Still, aways were ALWAYS better,,,even back in the day.

From the Qphaha programme v Chelsea, 1987...............
"Rangers normal programme price is 60p but we have to face the fact that Chelsea fans will be in the majority here and they are accustomed to a 70p price.
In these circumstances we prefer to put out a programme aimed at the majority purchasers (for one thing they will have the right money ready which speeds up programme sales queues)".
