LEGEND
Rory Delap may have a long throw, our own Branislav is developing his, but it seems unless you are a Chelsea fan, everybody has forgotten that the long throw has been around for over 40 years, when the late great Ian Hutchinson first brought the action into the game.
The proof is in the pudding as Chelsea won the FA Cup Final replay against Leeds United at Old Trafford in 1970 with a Hutch long throw landing via Jackie Charlton on the head/shoulder of defender David Webb at the far post to score the winning goal. (See link below)
Eat your heart out Delap!!!

After an indifferent period and substandard performances, JT looked back to his best and has 'appeared' to put all of his troubles behind him. He lead the team with aplomb and ultimately gained his reward with the second goal.
As usual, Chelsea dominated although Stoke City did cause a couple of anxious moments. The first being Mikel (redeeming himself for a poor performance last week) clearing of the line from a Hilario punch that fell straight onto the boot of Dean Whitehead and then in the second-half, Hilario saved sharply from Fuller. That was about the extent of City's enterprise.

Super Frank opened the scoring ten minutes before half-time with a rasping shot across Sorensen, after being set-up by JT and just before half-time, Didier forced Sorensen into a reflex save from close range.
Chelsea were drawn against Aston Villa in the semi-final draw. Match to be played at Wembley during the weekend of April 10/April 11.
