Essien Returns - Reserves Outing on Monday

COME ON CHELSEA

It is the news we have all been waiting for. Michael Essien is ready to return to competitive football. Temporary coach Guus Hiddink announced today that Essien will play for the reserves at Aston Villa on Monday night. What wonderful news.

Hiddink said, "He is developing very well, working very hard and has a very good attitude, a very open guy. We work with him in the recent days, five-a-side, eight-a-side and he will be available on short notice I think.

ESSIEN KNEE

"Not now, but we plan to play him on Monday with the reserves at Aston Villa. If you see him now with the group he is doing well, his presence is good to see. I am rather positive on that."

Who would be sacrificed? Ballack?

Or we could go 4 in midfield.

Ballack could go. He has been shocking the last few games - except for the header to set up Super Frank yesterday.
