Just read through the notes - sounds like Frank wanted to make a point doesn´t it? There were rumours last night that the club were going to relent and offer him the deal he wanted - caved in or calling his bluff? Don´t know - we´ll soon find out.

Didn´t see much about Deco - how did he play in your opinion?

Great to see Di Santo knock one in - I would have loved to see Kakuta travel and get a run out though.

These pre-season friendlies are normally just training matches to get fit but good to hear about us apparantly playing well and winning - was there any noticable change in system do you think?

Di Santo was due to start but at the last moment, Scolari changed it and put Di Santo on the bench and brought Bosingwa - who was injured and replaced after 25mins or so.

Deco and Lampard started like a house on fire, but Deco slowly evaporated as the game wore on and he was substituted soon after half-time.

With Frank. I think if any fan had any doubts about Frank's commitment to the club they have no need to worry. If this is Frank's last season he will play for us as if it was his first - he was brilliant!!

Yeah yeah yeah I know it was only a pre-season friendly.
