The entire team gets one point deduction for being asleep during that free kick routine.

Cech - 5 - Didnt get tested really, flapped at a fue crosses but it's clear to see he has improved on last season.

Mustafi - 5 - Kept clearing the ball to the other team, made a decent interception which probably saved a goal.

Holding - 5 - much improved, over recent weeks, can't help but feel Wenger is rushing him through.

Monreal - 7 - our most important player at the moment, the man has stepped up. decent composure to bag a goal, we have seen defenders clear the bar in Situations like that.

Bellarin -6- put himself about, defensively he got back when needed and showed great team understanding to pass to kolasinac in that counterattack.

Kolasinac -5- was seen jogging back while we were being attacked, other than that he did ok. Not his best defensive performance.

Xhaka -5- I think he did quite well considering kolasinac and Ramsey were ignoring their defensive responsibilities. A bit sloppy.

Ramsey -4- Trying too hard to get on the score sheet and quite often left xhaka to be a one man midfield, looks to be slipping back into his old ways. Should be dropped for Wilshire or Elneny if he doesn't want to defend. Fell over trying a volley which made me lol

Iwobi - 6 - moved around nicely and took his goal well, feel he probably would have made a better impact had Brighton not been so well drilled defensively.
Sanchez -8- MOTM - he made things happen, created a goal and terrified their defenders every time he got the ball. He is desperate to bag a goal.

Lacazette -6- smashed the post and worked hard trying to create. Felt like he would have scored if Wenger hadn't have subbed him off.

I'm not rating the subs.

In the grand scheme of things you would say that was a good result against a very stubborn Brighton side who don't concede many goals.
If it wasn't for the same old gremlins rearing there ugly head I would have given higher score but that was not the case, too many players switched off while defending set pieces. And there is a serious problem with some of our players self control during these types of games.
In the end it was quite comfortable but don't let that fool you, improvements are needed.
