Dein never put a penny of his money into the club, while the hill-wood family have, and Dein so loves the Arsenal he sold ever one of his shares in the club for a large profit on the promise of becoming chairman if Usmanov got full control, self prommoter of the highest order

I love this myth that Dein's departure is the reason why we have not won anything in the last five years, DD(by his own admission) had nothing to do with team selection, team training, tactics,or anything other than trying to sign some of the players wenger asked for, and as for his little chats with Wenger, well they still are friends and meet up on a regular basis. So apart from signing the players wenger asks for, which we have Gazidis for now what would DD bring to the table, oh thats right move to wembley and get usmanov in, the one major shareholder who advocates shareholders taking a dividend out of the club. Do people actually think DD never missed out on transfer targets, and also in the few years after the building of the stadium when we had little or no money how was he going to sign more players than we did.
