Watching his antics on the touch line each week. Who does he think he is ? The assistant manager?? Professionalism lacking. Embarrassment for the club at times.

I remember watching him trying and fail to scale the fence at Bidston tennis centre because a couple of scallies tried taking a ball. It was comedy really but he thought he was dead hard.

I didn't see what sparked it all off - but whatever it was Nixon throwing a punch is not acceptable and MM should banish him from the dugout. There also must be as concern we will have an FA charge of failing to control our players which would be a stupid fine...

The problem is that there are new rules I understand this season relating to the sending off of management staff who are on the touchline. The manager himself is deemed responsible for their actions and if Nixon's actions are worthy of a 3 match ban then it may be the ban is served by MM himself.
There certainly seemed to be no contrition on Nixon's part judging by his actions outside the ground after the match. His clenched fist salute on the contrary suggested he was rather proud of himself. Let us hope Micky doesn't suffer as a result of Nixon's foolish and reckless behaviour!

The bigger issue is what players will be retrospectively banned or what has the ref written in his report, Nicos actions might actually turnout to be a spark of genius distracting from what our players did.

Did anyone see him throw a punch? Or is it all speculation.

Or maybe what was said to Monthe. It has been suggested elsewhere that he may have been racially abused by an ex Tranmere player.

Looking at the extended highlights, there did seem to be something going on between Monthe and one of their players.
