He was fouled first and it was a silly reaction giving away a penalty as well which, was saved.
I believe he came straight back into the side after the previous suspension and has settled in well.
Problem is he is playing with Lee Catermole (not sure of the spelling) and his disciplinary record is terrible.

in an old post by Claytonne&Clark about the sale of max power to wigan he said
"Power wasn't a tribunal - the clubs agreed to an undisclosed fee just before the meeting. So it's not public if there is a sell-on (or even what we got)."
so im guessing by this we wont get a fee when he signs for sunderland

Hopefully he gets fed up with his nights out to Whitley Bay and living in the shadow of PJ and Duncan and decides he fancies taking Rovers back to league 1 after Xmas. He looked very assured in Wigan’s defeat of Man Shity last season.

If I didn't know better, I'd say he's having second thoughts about a permanent move to Sunderland and trying to scupper any potential transfer in the January window?
He now faces a 5 match ban
If he does go back to Wigan, that would mean we miss out on a pot of cash linked to a sell on clause we have from when we sold him

Not 100% as it was a while ago and have seen someone else comment on it but pretty sure we agreed to have the sell on fee scrapped for a nominal fee. Believe it was on Rearguard i read about it but it was mentioned by someone on here when the subject of any money was last brought up.

According to both bosses it wasn't even worth a yellow card and will be overturned. I think he's got a reputation that refs will have in there minds b4 games

Yes, this one was just bad luck, very poor refereeing decision. Will surely get overturned on appeal.

Yes, very poor decision by the referee but, the Walsall players didn't help, three or four were crowding around and IMO influenced the referee.

Stated on sky sports today appeal was won and red card overturned.
